National Tourism Award of Excellence by Min. of Tourism, Govt of India 2009 & 2012
(1) Svayam received the National Tourism Award of Excellence by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India along with Archaeological Survey of India for making the World Heritage Site Qutub Minar, New Delhi accessible in the year 2009. The award was received jointly by Svayam Team & the then Dr. K.K. Mohammed, Superintending Archaeologist (Delhi Circle) of Archaeological Survey of India, at the hands of the then Hon’ble Home Minister Sh. PC Chidambaram & the then Hon’ble Minister for Tourism Ms. Ambika Soni.

(2) Svayam received the National Tourism Award by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India jointly with Archaeological Survey of India for making the World Heritage Site Fatehpur Sikri Group of Monuments, Agra accessible in the year 2012. The award was received jointly by Svayam’s Founder Ms. Sminu Jindal & the Director General of Archaeological Survey of India, at the hands of the then Hon’ble President of India Shri. Pranab Mukherjee

(3) Svayam was conferred with the prestigious GAATES Award of Recognition for the year 2015 in an event held on the sidelines of the 95th Annual Meeting of Transport Research Board of National Academics, USA on January 13, 2016, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, in Washington, D.C. The award was conferred on SVAYAM & TRANSED in recognition of its outstanding leadership in the field of accessible transportation and for serving as the Permanent Secretariat for the International Conference on Mobility and Transport for Elderly and Disabled Persons (TRANSED) and for providing an invaluable global platform for knowledge-sharing, innovation and research.
